  • www.eduplace.com/dictionary - Each week the Definition Guessing Game challenges kids at all grade levels to guess the meaning of words like "niveous" and "maar." Kids can also write fake definitions of words and see how many people are folled by them.

  • www.exploratorium.edu/snacks/index.html - Science Snacks from the San Francisco Exploratorium - Miniature do-it-yourself versions of the most popular exhibits at the museum. These "snacks" reach basic science principles, such as gravity, magnetism, and light; and each one includes instructions, a photograph, and a list of needed materials.
